At WA, Erika contributes to a variety of residential and mixed-use projects, supporting teams through rezoning, development permit applications, consultant coordination, and design development. She enjoys navigating municipal requirements and translating complex regulations into practical design solutions, with a particular interest in unit design and adaptable housing.

Originally from Mexico, Erika brings an international perspective and a strong passion for continuous learning. Her broad software knowledge and attention to detail allow her to contribute across different stages of the design process while supporting project and client needs.

Outside the office, Erika is actively involved in animal rescue and advocacy, helping connect rescue efforts between Mexico and Canada. She shares her home with her two rescue dogs, Paco and Hugo, who keep life interesting and remind her daily of the value of patience, adaptability, and compassion.
