Alex Stringer
Project Coordinator | Design
Growing up in a construction family, Alex developed an interest in building and design from a young age. One of his earliest memories is “helping” his dad build the home he grew up in. Years later, he worked alongside him, gaining firsthand experience in the construction industry from the ground up.
He went on to pursue a diploma in Architectural and Building Technology at BCIT, followed by a Bachelor of Architectural Science degree. This combination of technical training and design education has given him a well-rounded approach to architecture, balancing creativity with practical problem-solving and constructability.
At WA, Alex works on residential and commercial projects of varying scales, helping clients navigate design development, regulatory requirements, and approval processes to realize their projects. He is passionate about translating ideas into thoughtful, buildable solutions and guiding projects from early concept through completion.
Outside the office, Alex has been able to bring things full circle by designing and building a family home for his four young sons, who in turn are now making their own memories of “helping” their dad.
